Hello all!
This is my third time starting a forum (aka my third time applying to a program...).
I am planning on applying to BCIT BSN for September 2015 intake.
Applications have already opened, but I am still waiting on marks. In my case, I have everything but my grade 11 courses (ha). I am currently finishing up Chem 11 and Math 11 because I had a C+.
....I guess grade 11 really does matter.
The deadline is April 1st. Here are the prerequisites as of January 2015:

Feel free to share your story or concerns. I've found it useful to have a forum open for people to discuss their concerns throughout the process.
All the best to you!
Finished the questionnaire this morning! I definitely found the time constraints and word limit hard to stick to! I was pretty close for all of them except the last one... I think I went just over 400 words for that one , and I went about two mins over in time I think before I realized. Also was there a word count on the quiz? I couldn't find one, so I was just copying and pasting into word, which definitely wasted some of my time! I also have a copy of my answers now too, and going over them, I'm not overly happy! Haha I wish I would have had more time to review, but overall I think it was ok! Just glad it's over with, and all we have to do now is wait :)

I know how you feel with regards to rereading the answers after submitting! But I think as people we are naturally hard on ourselves, I'm sure you did great!
Ya, I heard in the past applicants could save the test and come back to it. If only....lol
Hmm...yeah. The committee did let us know that we won't hear from them til a bit before or after the 30th... that's in two weeks not counting this one
Thinking about it tho, I use to be an ESL and my grammar skill isn't that great either...so I'm kind of scared if they are going to factor my grammar skills! WAHHHHHHH~!

Awe don't worry, English is my first language and I'm still trying to perfect my grammar ! As another poster said, they are more concerned with content I'm sure. They must know that it's hard to edit and try and plan what we wanna say in the 90 minute time limit.
Yeah logically I know what the committee said, but my neurotic side impulsively checks the email 😜. Two weeks is going to feel like the longest two weeks of my life 😿.
It's tough knowing there is always a chance I could be cut, but that's life I guess. I'm going to stay positive either way!!!
I don't think there was a word count on the questionnaire but I made sure I was under 250 words per question on word. Tried to keep my answer concise and to the point. Hopefully it was enough. It was definitely hard to come up with answers and examples on the spot yet still trying to answer the question!!
:)
