BCIT APRIL 2020

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

As today is the first day to apply to BCIT for April 2020, I thought I'd start up a forum!

Is anyone else having trouble applying today?? I get an error message saying "No intakes are available at this time. Check your program's Entry page to find out when to apply." But today is June 1st?? :(

Congrats guys! It is so awesome to hear all of you are getting in!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

quick question did anyone already submit their criminal record checks and immunization?

Hi just joining the forum!

If we are not offered a seat for this April intake, would we need to reserve a CASPer test for the Fall 2020 intake? I emailed BCIT about it, but they did not give a yes or a no, but rather "results are valid until Aug 2020".

That being said, has anyone been able to reserve one?

anyone hear anything yet for today? Still pending for me!!

Hello everyone,

Sad to say I got non offer for this intake. The nursing department said, I failed the non-cognitive questionnaire. I just want to ask on how did you answer the questionnaire, especially to those who just got accepted. Would you mind giving me some advice or tips on how to improve my answers.

Thank you so much in advance!

Sorry to hear! I cant really remember how I wrote my answers because I didn’t save any of it but I do know that I used most of the word limit & tried to use examples related to work/school. I didnt use any healthcare related examples but just like my job & study habits. Grammar & spelling was a part of it too so i spell checked everything.

I’m so sorry you didn’t get in! I am still pending but I also used a lot of school related examples and some work related experience but none from healthcare. I made sure to read my answers three times over and check my spelling! I am not sure if not having health care experience will harm me or not but I will see!

Is anyone else still pending? I almost feel like they forgot about me or something lol

Right me too! I know some one else who is still pending. I emailed and the lady said the person who was responsible for their program applications was away and back on the 4th of November. So I assume they mean by then? Not sure this process has been so confusing

I'm still pending too, from past posts I have deducted that most people after this long get non-offers eventually but that is pessimistic of me.

I believe they said everyone will 100% know by Oct 31st.

I havent heard of anyone being waitlisted yet so there’s definitely a possibility of that!!

That’s what I think will happen the rest of us will be waitlisted for September

Yeah I hope so! I’m assuming both non-offers and then waitlist will be sent out!
