Tarrant County College for Intro to Word Religions and English Literature and Taylor University for Old or New Testament. I've been taking most of my prerequisites at Tarrant County College.

Good info, thank you!

hi guys, I am in Houston as well and applied for Fall 2023. I have lots of concerns about this ABSN online program cause it is only one year! LOL

Hi, who got accepted for fall 2023 DABSN? Also, what cohort do you belong?

Hi! I was accepted and am in Cohort 7.

Thank you!

What were your stats like?

Stats were:

Cumulative GPA: 3.3

Pre Req GPA: 3.1

Overall HESI Score: 96.5

(Got a 90 in Reading Comp, 100 in Vocab, 98 in Grammar, 99 in Math sections).

Only needed to take one Religion class to satisfy completion of prereqs.

wow. That is good. may I please know where you took your religion courses.

Thank you! I'm taking Old Testament Studies at West Texas A&M University. They have a few options for online courses. The one I'm taking is self-paced which works out best for my schedule/lifestyle. The self paced course option is called Education on Demand. It's super convenient, but pricey. It cost 700 and I had to pay it in full to get access. I initially planned to take the course at Houston Community College, but they no longer offered it. WTAMU's admission process was also super quick and easy. So honestly I personally feel like it was worth it for me because I was able to get admitted/approved as a student needing to take the course and transfer the credit, and started the course within less than a week's time. I plan to finish it up within the next month or so.
