i'm not really excited yet, more relieved then anything. i just want to be done. i am SO tired of school. i have no life, just work and school. i barely get to spend time with my daughter and boyfriend. it feels like i've been holding my breathe for the last 3 years and i STILL got years to go. but im blessed all the same. stay on all the schools you applied too. what campus of DCCCD do u attend?

So I was reading yalls convo and was had a question...I am planning on applying for Baylor's nursing school for spring 2010. However, I realized they changed the application deadline from August 1st to May 1st and I am 2 classes short of having 44 hours required to apply. I will have 52 of the pre reqs after this semester so do you think she will still allow me to apply and send my transcrpit again right after this semester? I was so bummed when I saw they changed the date! I am attending TWU right now so am applying there also but I need to apply to more than one school to have that back up plan. Plus I really want to go to Baylor because I want to get my masters there. Anyways, I just wanted to see what yall thought. I have talked to Tina some but not a lot and don't really know how lenient they are. Thanks!

I still have 5 prereqs to finish before Aug. and Baylor is fine with that. I just have to pass the classes before nursing school starts. So go ahead and apply, on the app. it askes what you are working on now and what you have to finish. Good Luck!!

what is your gpa at twu. and have you taken 32 hours at TWU. it is easier to get in for the spring at baylor because you dont have all the kids from waco applying with you.

hey deniedi77 if you dont mind me asking what was your gpa getting in, im applying for fall. mine is a 3.2 rite now im just taking the rest of classes they need.

Hi, I don't remember my exact GPA but it was around 3.3-3.5 and I wasn't finished with my pre-reques, so don't let that stop you from applying. I still had 5 classes left. You just have to finish before you actually start. I still have one one left because It was cancelled this summer, so I am taking it next summer. Good Luck, I LOVE BAYLOR!!! okay thanks, is it true that the tuution rate is so high thgat alot of people dont apply and they take pretty much anyone in. because im at t.c.c right now.

I took the NET test at Baylor, and you are able to take the the as many times as you want. Its good if you have test anxiety. It is true Baylor is expense, but its worth it! It runs about 14,000 a semester, BUT they have great financial and scholarship packages!! Never worry about money, just get in there!!

Just wanted to add that I do work a full-time job. I received aid to cover school but I still need to work to cover my bills.
