you mean to tell me that nobody on this entire site applied for the fall 2009 program? or even the spring 2009. does anybody have any insight.

Hey there, in response to you question, yes, I applied to Baylor Dallas campus for the fall. I recieved an e-mail from Nursing Coordinator that said they are behind and are still processing applications. They said it will be another few weeks before they start sending out acceptance letters. Hope that helps. I'm anxious tooo!!!

i got the same email from Tina on the 17th. im just so anxious! finally somebody is applying. i couldnt find anybody except 2 ppl who applied years ago. if you dont mind me asking, what was your GPA and NET. are you coming from waco. i know they give preferences to their own students and they give them a .02 added to their gpa for admission purposes. didnt know that until i read the catalog..hmm but yeahh. do you know how many ppl they accept.

You know what, in this case I dont want to know the statistics. I don't know how many people applied or how many get accepted. I hear so many stories at school and at work, i'm sick of it!!! Don't listen to statistics, it makes you question yourself and how you measure up. On the Net ,I made a 74 and my GPA is a 3.7 which isnt the best, but its not just about numbers. Baylor is the only school I applied to because the application process was so overwhelming with the fees, essays, transcripts. I had to make 7 trips to Waco. And due to a power outage my Net score was erased and I had to take it again the next day. But, I have had several conversations with Tina and got alot of positive feedback. So I'm just gonna wait and see.

woah woah woah.. why so many trips to waco. i never went once. nor did i have to pay any fees. or write any essays. so why did you have to do that. i just filled out the application and that was it. even applying to the school was free. i have a 3.45 and a 76 NET so i dont know how competitive i am. but i have all the prereqs done so hopefully some people who have higher gpas dont have all their prereqs done and that would be gooood for me lol. but i applied to 5 schools. and one i didnt get in. it was an ADN program im on an alternate list.. but im okay.

I took the Net test in Waco and twice they had power problems in the buiding, once when I was in the middle of taking the est and the second was right before I was going to take it and the power went out and I had to go back the next day. At first I was told that I had to apply to the university as a tranfer student BEFORE I could apply to the nursing program in Dallas. So, I sent it all to Waco and had to meet with an advisor and everything. I am also finished with my prereqs with the exception of one more religion class and statistics which I will be taking this summer. I almost called Tina on Friday to see if she had started sending out letters, because when I looked online I saw that my nursing application had been finally processed on Monday. But I stopped myself, I dont want to start stalking Tina, I give her another week. lol

oh. i applied as a transfer online. and didnt have to meet with an advisor or anything. how can you tell if youre application has been processed. well i definitely STALK tina. haha im sure i email her like shes a friend receiving a forward lol. i call her too. hahaha. but yeah how do you know if your app has been processed. i have to do a reinstate form or something because i applied for fall 2008, but i didnt get accepted. that is when i originally applied to the campus. now they want a high school transcript because my admission is "contingent" upon that. blahhhh.. but i didnt know you had to apply to baylor beforehand. she just told me that i had to meet the requirements for baylor. and she said that if i was able to apply to the program then i was able to apply for the school. but ive taken ALL the courses. im so glad im done with spanish...ughh. i was pregnant during last semester and i just couldnt pay attention i was so wore out. did you take john wadhams for religion. i took him on the internet. two verrry easy As

I didnt have any fees for Baylor but for TCU and TWU, they had fees. Which I don't mind but I didnt want to apply to several schools and go through all that I went through with Baylor. But yeah, I had to submit an essay, resume and letters of recommendation for Baylor.

oh. i didnt do any of that. maybe it hurt me. =( i applied to TWU as well. i was sooo close to applying to TCU, but i only took the reading grammar and math part on the HESI because that is all another school wanted and TCU wanted all the sections and i just didnt want to retake it.. so im kind of bummed, but im alright lol
