I’m interested in the neonatal intensive care unit / Pediatrics

I don’t think Peds had a separate group.
For NICU there is 2 spots in Dallas but I’m not sure about other locations.

BUMC has 2 NICU spots

If anyone wanted to apply to UT Southwestern, they opened their applications today! :))

Hey guys!

I unfortunately was not able to attend the graduate expo as I had to work all day. Does anyone know how many spots they have opened at BUMC ICUs? Such as CVICU, MICU, Neuro?

They said they will typically have around 12-16 on each of the ICUs at BUMC. I can’t remember how many different ICUs they had though. I feel like it was around 5 or 6.

Is anyone that has applied been an ADN student on this forum? Also does anyone know if Baylor has stopped their selection/hiring process? Thanks again and good luck to everyone!

Thank you, that's good to hear!

Has anyone heard about a residency start date for Fort Worth?
I've gotten a phone offer, but still waiting for my email with my official offer and start date information.

I was told 27.50 , I applied in the Austin locations

I was told 26.75, but I’m pretty sure the base is 25.00 and if you accept a job in certain specialties you may qualify for a differential

Oh wow when did you do your panel interview? I’m in Fort Worth and was told interviews would be in March. Congrats tho that’s awesome you’ve already gotten an offer! I think I remember hearing at the online expo that base pay would be around $26.50 or $26.75 (can’t remember exactly) and residents are eligible for shift diffs and things like critical care pay, so I guess it depends on your specific unit.
