Hi everyone I wanted to get some advice on something that happened recently. I had an interview yesterday that I felt went really well, and the hiring manager that I interviewed with mentioned that they would be extending an offer either yesterday or today.

However, this morning at 6 AM, I received an automated rejection letter. It's frustrating because the email references a different application, although it correctly lists the hospital's address where I applied.

Has anyone else experienced receiving a rejection letter so soon after an interview? Or maybe had a similar mix-up with their application details? I'm feeling confused about what to do next. How long did it take for you to hear back after an interview, whether it was a rejection or an offer?

Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
