for my specific unit, I haven't heard anything but the BUMC GNs have a virtual meet and greet on the 10th.. I think that's about it

Hi! I believe you have 60 days after the start date to take and pass the NCLEX. In order to start w/o having your NCLEX done, you must have a GN (grad nurse) permit given by the TBON.. I believe! someone correct me if I'm wrong please.

just an update! I had my interview yesterday and received a call with an offer today! seems like they're moving pretty fast LOL. I applied for bumc trauma ICU ?

thank you! yes a couple of the questions were (roughly): tell me about a time you managed a stressful situation, a time where you worked in a team and your role, how do you manage your time to get tasks done, where do you see yourself in 2 years, etc etc! ? thank you! its trauma ICU at bumc!

I think its safe to say it went well! It was mostly 'tell me about a time when' and situational questions. They decided to extend an offer so! ?

use real life experience as examples! they love it! they want to see how you handle real-world situations, especially under pressure. At least that's what they made it seem like for ICU. be yourself, show personality and confidence! you'll do great. good luck! ?
