Yes leadership helped so much! I felt so much better doing the video interview. I’ve been watching the videos and such, I was thinking more along the lines of where are you looking in order to get families with the units you’re interviewing for?

If you go to the hospitals website you can find their mission and values and what they’re all about. Other than that I’m not sure ?

I’m definitely gonna be working on that. I’ve usually been a terrible interviewee.

So happy for you that you got an interview too! I hope you get the spot you want! I am so excited at the thought of getting the residency I’m interviewing for. It is my dream too! ❤️

The recruiter told me on the phone that I'd be receiving an email with a link to provide references. If he/she didn't mention it then I wouldn't worry about it. Maybe it depends on the speciality or hospital. Or maybe they'll ask later on. I just wanted to give a heads up!

I am having phone interview too. How was the questions and how can I be prepared for it?

There are not true interview questions during the phone interview. The recruiter will ask you your GPA, if you’re taking the NCLEX in Texas, your shift preference, unit and location preference (again), what certifications you have... I think that’s about it. My recruiter offered and scheduled my interview at the end of the call but they do this based on your location preference and whether or not that location is scheduling interviews yet.

Thank you so much!

Hi friends! Just wondering if anyone has heard from any managers or from recruiters (***** most likely) about in-person interviews for Women's at BUMC in Dallas! (ex: L&D/NICU/PP)

Best of luck to everyone! ❤️

One of my friends heard from ***** to do her phone interview with her last week. She submitted her digital interview either the day of or the following day she got the email.

I'm getting so nervous reading this thread! I submitted my application the day is opened. I applied to Temple, Round Rock and Waco and still haven't heard anything other than the digital interview.

For those of you who have had in-person interviews, how did they go? I'm scheduling one for possibly this week or next.

Hi! I don't have an in-person interview, but did you attend to GN Expo and met with the manager/directors there?

No. Unfortunately I was unable to go because I had clinical that day :(. Hoping this doesn't hurt my chances.

Thanks! I was just wondering because I had my phone interview with *****. He informed me that attending the GN Expo is highly recommended if I wanted an in-person interview.

But knowing that you got an interview without attending the Expo gives me hope. Anyways good luck!
