Updated:   Published

Hi everyone! I know the application for the nurse residency program for BSWH opened up on 9/1/20 and figured that I would start a thread to update each other on it. Good luck

My application says it's still active at this point but I'm beginning to lose hope. I applied in the beginning of Sept and did the video interview within 3 days and haven't heard a thing.  I am not a patient waiter LOL.

I'm in the same boat, which department did you apply for?

Nope, haven't heard from any location or specialty in North Texas

They're starting to make calls for College Station! I received my offer for IMCU yesterday.

Congrats! I had clinical rotations there and some of my best clinical experiences were with their IMCU! Some of the nicest nurses on that unit!!

Me too! I was so upset when we had to be benched after Spring Break and I missed out on the rest of my clinicals there.

Hi guys! I see everyone keeps mentioning reaching out to x, y, z recruiter and I was hoping someone would clarify to me how you find out who “your recruiter” is?? I’m originally from south FL relocating to DFW and none of my friends back home had to work with recruiters from what I’ve known so I’m at a loss with that...I also had done my recorded hirevue interview and haven’t heard back past that but my Methodist and parkland applications are coming in denied ?. I’m BSN Dec.2020 grad.

Typically they are talking about the recruiter that calls for the phone screen, I'm not sure which one has which facilities but if you have questions for the recruiters, they are fairly active on the BSWH Graduate Nurse facebook page and answer questions pretty quickly!

Has anyone heard anything from North Texas yet? I had my interview with the CTICU at BUMC last week and the nerves are seriously starting to get to me
