So I had a VERY NEGATIVE initial contact with this college. Through just ONE conversation it's apparent that this school is a for-profit. After calling the school I was transferred to their Atlanta campus...The guy answered the phone "are you coming to a information session" which COMPLETELY through me off....no hello, thank you for calling Atlanta...blah blah etc.. it was INFO session info session. He continued to cut me off, avoid all questions. and even got SNAPPY with me. Their customer service is absolutely a turn off and I don't believe this school will be a top choice for me. smh some people do not need to be in customer service... I could NOT believe this guy. Take a PTO day if you don't want to work.
Ok I need some clarification here. I know that this nursing program is Kaplan RN Program.. So when I graduate my degree will say Kaplan University? Also, does this mean that Kaplan is SACS accredited just as Bauder is? I'm a bit confused here could some one clear this up for me? When I got my drug Test they wrote Kaplan University on the paper and that threw me off a little BUT on the GA BON sight it's under Bauder College. Any clarification would be appreciated.
Sooooo I got a call from Carla in career services last week welcoming me to the school. I thought it was the "big call" for acceptance into the the program for Feb. However, it was just a general welcome call, and they are still in the process of selecting people. We should know by next week at the earliest or the end of the month at the latest. FINGERS CROSSED!!!
I received the same phone call and thought it was "THE" call but it was a general welcome, so hopefully we all who are trying to get in, gets in!!! Fingers crossed!!!!!

Bauder is SACS accredited so basically any perquisites you take will transfer in and out. I think the testing is because Kaplan owns Bauder, but they use Bauder as an individual university rather than their umbrella name.
Currently my third term. Start clinicals next week, started the program in July. It flies by!
Hi I think you are in the same term as my neighbor. She started clinical with fundamentals yesterday in Marietta but she said they kicked them out the site because something was wrong with the contract. Did you run into the same problem? Are you nervous about how the program is being ran?
I got the same call right before Christmas but I got another call yesterday from someone in admissions about completing the rest of my financial aid. I thought I was done with everything so I have no idea of what else they need from me.
