  1. Hey did you guys get your books yet?? I got mine today for micro and human ant, I'm so excited!
  2. Thanks Missmommy! Good luck to you also! :)
  3. Hey guys any update on the NCLEX results??
  4. Well I got an email that says in the Subject "New Student Orientation", but it just had new times of operations LOL..
  5. Good to hear your clinicals are going well. We are still waiting on acceptance letters on this side.
  6. No problem good luck!!
  7. Yeah all we can do is wait it out and see... Let's hope we all get it. I talked to someone again and I was told that now we should be getting letters at least before Feb 16, supposedly that's when orientation is. The joys of the waiting game, lol!
  8. @bellamia1015 Thanks for your reply. Have you completed everything on the "checklist"? WHEN will we know for sure if we are accepted, I can never get a DIRECT answer and if I do then I'm told differently later! When did you start the process?
  9. @Catdawg Yes it completely makes sense. How are you doing in the program so far? The professors?
  10. Hello Missmommy I am in the process of applying to Bauder's Nursing Program in hopes of starting the ADN program in Feb! There is a thread titled Bauder College Pleasant Surprise that will answer all of the questions plus much more!! https://allnurses.com/georgia-state-nursing/bauder-college-pleasant-594015.html The cost of the ADN program, if you are not transferring any classes in, is around 40,000. The program takes 18 months to complete and it's broken up into 7 terms that are 10 weeks in length. The LPN program is 5 terms (one year) and the cost appr 30,000. If you were unsuccessful reaching anyone at Bauder I would recommend you keep calling or make a visit. Good luck!!
  11. So they should be mailing out letters next week??? Arghh can't wait lol!
  12. For the people that a good bit of college credits under their belt or have a degree already, were you required to take the "College Success" course?
  13. Ok I need some clarification here. I know that this nursing program is Kaplan RN Program.. So when I graduate my degree will say Kaplan University? Also, does this mean that Kaplan is SACS accredited just as Bauder is? I'm a bit confused here could some one clear this up for me? When I got my drug Test they wrote Kaplan University on the paper and that threw me off a little BUT on the GA BON sight it's under Bauder College. Any clarification would be appreciated.
  14. When you say the process is way different from traditional college, what do you mean? I know the terms are broken up into 10 weeks but what else besides the terms length makes this program different? I hope to start at Bauder in Feb, and I do plan on furthering my education, still debating on the different routes also.
