So I had a VERY NEGATIVE initial contact with this college. Through just ONE conversation it's apparent that this school is a for-profit. After calling the school I was transferred to their Atlanta campus...The guy answered the phone "are you coming to a information session" which COMPLETELY through me off....no hello, thank you for calling Atlanta...blah blah etc.. it was INFO session info session. He continued to cut me off, avoid all questions. and even got SNAPPY with me. Their customer service is absolutely a turn off and I don't believe this school will be a top choice for me. smh some people do not need to be in customer service... I could NOT believe this guy. Take a PTO day if you don't want to work.
Ok I guess they have me down to go to a information session and I have to take some test there also. So what is the test on do anybody know.
The test is some math questions, some common sense/reasoning/critical thinking type questions. Not too bad. They don't expect you to make a 100% on it. If you have a flexible enough personal schedule and are ready for an accelerated program, I'd definitely recommend Bauder.
I was in the same boat as you. I already have a degree, so I don't get as many grants as other classmates (because most people in the program do not have bachelor's or higher degrees), so having classes transfer in definitely helps.
And I understand the feeling about how this is a different process for being admitted to school. It's definitely not a traditional environment so keep an open mind and also remember that this is a new program, and you know how start-ups are sometimes while they work out all the kinks :)
See you in Feb! And good luck! Make sure you keep copies ON YOU or in your trunk (in case they ask for them again) of all the forms (CPR, immunizations, etc) that you turn in, and only turn them in to the nursing office, not the admissions office because they WILL lose them

Thanks for the advice. Which term are you in?

Have anyone received their acceptance letter into the PN program for Feb.2013?? I'm guessing the letters are not going out until after the New Years.
