This is a forum for students planning to apply to BRCC in Spring 18' for acceptance into the Fall 18' or Spring 19' semester. I'm just looking to get to know fellow prospects and/or future classmates. Anyone that wants to discuss comments/concerns about BRCC's Nursing Program.
Hey, y'all! Congrats on your acceptances! I will be repeating fundamentals in the fall, so I just wanted to chime in and ask that if anyone does end up setting up a Group Me for the fall semester or for the 2020 class, if y'all could put the link to it on this page so that we can all join. If y'all haven't set one up yet I don't mind doing it! Once the semester starts the Group Me is basically the only form of social media you'll use

It was a few pages back
If we haven't heard back yet, it probably means we didn't get in right? This is for the RN program, correct?
I think you should've received some kind of communication. I think you should have received either an acceptance, rejection or waitlist letter.
If you have not received any kind of communication, I would call the school immediately.
I was reading through this and saw a comment that said the nursing courses are taken in 2 spring and 2 fall semesters. I am applying to the program in the 2019 spring semester, but I will have already finished all of my pre reqs. So, if I get accepted into the program, will it take me 4 semesters to finish my nursing courses? It will be my fourth semester at BRCC in spring of 2019, and it wouldn't be worth it if it will take me another 4 semesters to get my associates degree. I would rather just transfer to a university and start on my bachelor's degree.

This is correct.
If you have the option of getting into a BSN program, it may be a better route for you.
