Hi all, I am new to the site and I just wanted to see if anyone had gone to bastien academy in East providence for my CNA liscense. I am starting Oct. 5 so I was looking for any information or reviews/what I should expect. I am so happy that I am able to get in sooner than later. Most of the places I called all start in January. Any info would help or if anyone else is starting the same time that would be cool too! Thanks.

I looked this place up. It costs 2500 for cna. Thats Crazy. CCRI is only 500. Some nursing homes are free. I'd look elsewhere.
The problem is I owe CCRI 700 from a previous time there (years back). So i would have to pay that plus the class fee. Everywhere else i have called (i am up to 34 nursing homes) so far either don't offer any, or start in January. I would like to be settled in the field way before then so I can start working toward my LPN next year. I am unemployed so network RI said they would pay for it but again... I would have to wait until the end of November. I went today and signed up, it was only $1000 for the class not 2500. Just seeing if anyone went the same route or is going the same route. I guess I could not wait to get into the field and start growing professionally.

Hey everyone!
Mike I work at RIH/Hasbro too so I am curious what unit you were hired on, I have worked in a few different units as a CNA so I might have some advice for you. Feel free to Private Message me with the specifics.
