Hey I registered fot the same classes. Sadly they did not have the book available yet and i dont want to order the books that they have now for fall just in case they change the books..but all is well on my end so far

I started to get some of them so far i need 4 more....someone told me there books sell out very quickly so hopefuuly i get them before there gone...what about you?

I wonder how the other AO students are doing so far?

I haven't purchased any books yet, but I will this weekend. I have been comparing prices between the bookstore and barnes & noble. So far, comparing prices, I will save about $225 with barnes & noble.

Did you purchase the evolve reach NCLEX package yet? Also did you purchase a stethoscope and penlight?

I also wonder how the other AO students are doing. I wish Barry would of orientation sometime in December, so that we could of met our fellow student nurses.

I see we are on the same wavelength with our thoughts...I got a stethoscope, no to the pen light truthfully I didn't even think about it...I've been comparing the prices as well but I'm having trouble frinding the Evolve Reach txtbook and it bothers me that no one has a picture or ISBN and I don't want to get the wrong one. Oh and its pretty wierd that some of our txt books are paperback

I also apply for the accelerated program at Barry. I did all my pre reqs at MDC. I'm taking MCB lab and statistic this semester. Did you get accepted to the program? They will tell me if i got accepted in september. What was your GPA when you applied for Barry. I have a 3.5 now

I would love to get some information from you! I, too, am taking my pre reqs at MDC(Wolfson campus) and will be applying to Barry as an accelerated BSN student.

I'm starting my pre reqs with A&P I w/ lab and Nutrition.

How should I go about purchasing my textbooks? I live in Washington DC right now but am moving home to Florida at the end of the month to begin the spring semester. I know which textbooks/ CDs are required, based on their website, and am also realizing I'm not forking over the $600 the quoted me.

Do I just go to amazon and get them used there or... I don't know, buy them used from the actual university? Any advice is so appreciated. Thanks and best of luck!

How are you? hope you are ready for the huge start. well i've been doing great thanks to God. I pass all my classes and now i can't wait to start at Barry and that nursing program. I haven't done any of my medical things yet. Also I'll be working at the campus. whoo hoo!
