Hey everyone!

Just wanted to see who all is applying for Barry University SCRNA program for 2021! Anyone have interviews yet? I have one scheduled in 2 weeks!

Any current/prior students with advice on this program?

Congratulations to everybody accepted! I applied and was denied this round but I’ll keep trying for next year! 4 years MSICU at a Level 1 Trauma, 3.6 graduate GPA in an AGACNP program that I’m not passionate about, CCRN, charge and preceptor experience, low GRE (282) but am studying to retake, and plan on taking a Chemistry with a lab. We’ll see about next year!

My application has not closed out and according to the university they have yet to review it. Is anyone else in the same boat? Getting nervous that maybe they ran out of spots and have moved on. Thanks!

Oh wow.  When I went to the virtual open house a month ago they said there were 25 seats left for this cohort. I interviewed on Friday. Waiting for a response. Not sure if they’re reviewing those that were waitlisted.

Thanks! I think it went really well! I currently live in KC, MO so I’m hoping for Hollywood or Orlando locations so I don’t have to travel too much! They said I’d hear back sometime next week ??

Hey guys! So I found out I got waitlisted today. Stats: 3.7 GPA/306 GRE (150/156/4)/CCRN. 1.5 years med tele and 2 ICU - MICU mostly (9 months staff and the rest travel). One thing that hurt me is no shadowing, short time as a staff RN and I froze during my interview!  Hopeful there will be a spot for me this cohort ?
