Wanted to start thread because I have not come across a forum for the CRNA 2025 application deadline. Good luck to those applying!

From what I heard they do interviews u til November then they go in holiday break and then they interview in February and maybe march best of luck to everyone

Yes, the representative told me that they will stop accepting new applications on November 1st. However, they will likely still conduct interviews until the Spring to fill the cohort. Which is why many students have applied and having received a denial or an interview invitation yet.

I applied October 1 and paid for the transcript service on NursingCAS, just received the call today to interview! They gave me the option of October 25 or November 22 and I chose the November date to have more time to finish my Chemistry pre-req and brush up on my CCRN knowledge.

Hello there, would you mind sharing your stats? I applied yesterday and I just wanted to see what they were looking for at this point. I know I'm late in the game but I was waiting for some funding. Thank you in advance.

Also, sorry second question my mind is racing, did you mean you haven't taken your chemistry at all yet or are you retaking it because it's too old. Thank you in advance.

Sure! So I previously got an A in College Chemistry but have to re-take it since it was in 2014. 

Undergrad/ADN GPA: 3.82, BSN GPA: 4.00

I've been a nurse for over seven years now, 4 years Trauma, Surgical, and Mixed ICUs including 1 year of SICU travel nursing, everything else was my first year on a stepdown and then traveling PACU and a year of OR. Most recently I've been in the OR as a circulator (where I'm on the unit practice council), worked SICU PRN Sept. 2023-Dec. 2023, and have been a clinical adjunct at an ADN program for a year now. Just got the OK to transfer at my current hospital into their ICU and will start that Dec. 2nd to have about 6 months current ICU come May 2025 start date if I get accepted. Have CCRN, ACLS, PALS, BLS.  I got letters of recommendation from the two CRNAs I've shadowed a couple times and from my previous ICU charge nurse and nurse manager, as well as from two ADN nursing professors and my current OR nurse manager. I never learned devices like CRRT or IABP previously due to being a brand new nurse, then Covid, then traveling SICU and PACU so I'm definitely making that a priority this Winter and early Spring to learn.

Interesting. I submitted mine August 1st and have heard nothing until I emailed - they even asked my current grade in my chem class the other day since I'm taking that and stats etc (mine were too old)

I have 9 years ICU (high acuity) experience and got accepted to another program but Barry is still on my radar so I'm still waiting for a response. Congrats to you!

How was the application process for those that got in ? What was asked ? Any advice ?

3.8 GPA, 11 yrs of experience in PICU, 4 years flight nursing, several shared leadership committees, CRRT, preceptor, dairy award, 40hrs OR shadow,  PFCCS and peds sim instructor, rapid response / code team, volunteer hours, trilingual, 2 CRNA letters of recommendation, PALS, ACLS, NRP, PFCCS, ENPC, STABLE, CCRN
