Barry University CRNA 2025 Application

Wanted to start thread because I have not come across a forum for the CRNA 2025 application deadline. Good luck to those applying!

Application is via nursingCAS. The requirements are pretty straight forward. 
 

Haven't interviewed with Barry yet, (Nov) but from what the woman on the phone said who extended the invite- they want to get to know you and ask you things based on your area of experience. 

 

I interviewed elsewhere and can say from that experience, it I was a good mix of clinical, pharm, and emotional intelligence questions.

  • Overall GPA: 3.61
  • Science GPA: 3.52
  • Certification: CCRN

Clinical Experience:

  • 3 years in Trauma/Neuro
  • Nearly 1 year in CVICU

I've had the opportunity to shadow several CRNAs and secured a mentor after attending a Diversity CRNA workshop in April. Additionally, I've taken advanced courses in pathophysiology, pharmacology, and health assessment.

Stay positive and trust the journey, everyone! Remember, persistence is key—if you don't give up, you will become a CRNA!

Congratulations! I think I submitted my application this month. I didn't know that it's rolling admission. I hope it wasn't too late. Can you share some interview experience? Thank you!

Just applied on 10/25, when does one usually hear back from them?

Does anyone have any estimate?

Hi! I submitted my application on 10/18 and I received an invite on 10/23 🙂  so that was approximately three business days.

Do you know what number they call from, or possibly the area code? I had no idea it was a phone call invite. I was looking out for an email.

It came up as Barry University on my caller ID. The number was 305 area code. I'm almost positive if you missed the call, they would've left you a voicemail.

It's not rolling the deadline was Nov 1 I believe.
