Wanted to start thread because I have not come across a forum for the CRNA 2025 application deadline. Good luck to those applying!

So I got lucky in that my local CC didn't require "intro to chem" to take general chem 1 so I'm doing it in person for much cheaper than these online classes that people take. It's also one day a week lecture/lab so it's a long day but we'll worth the savings. I've taken a "chem for health sciences" for nursing school and a lot of CC's don't count that to cover "intro to chem". Plan is to taking Gen chem 2 as am not only applying to Barry and I suppose having 2 chems would look good.

Is that mean Chem 1 with lab will be good enough for Barry? Thank you for the clarification.

Specializes in Medical ICU.

Hi! Where did you see that the GRE isn't mandatory anymore? On the admissions page it still says its required? That would save me sooo much time LOL 🤣

Applied and following! Anybody knows how soon they will send out interview invites after we submitted our application?

in last years thread I saw people were starting to get invites in June. Barry accepts 10 people every month until the deadline and by the deadline they have about 40 seats left.  IDK if that's changing but that's how it was last cycle. this is the second round for me

Someone directly from admissions told me that it wasn't required anymore. And on the NursingCAS page for Barry's application it says optional!

Yeah it's not required anymore. It was changed this year. They did mention if you score really good though you can still submit and it'll help boost your application.

Anyone on here already going through the program or know any info on how the curriculum works? I know it says online that the first year didactic is online, but after that, are we at the campus multiple times a week and doing clinicals? I signed up for the virtual open house in may just curious if anyone has info on how its set up. I live in Tampa and was trying to figure out if I'd have to relocate or just make the drive multiple times a week.

Semesters 1 and 2 are online. The rest of the semesters are in person and you can choose between the 4 locations depending on space available

Okay gotcha. I can't move my family from Tampa area so I was just curious about the on campus classes and clinical schedule, what a typical week is like. Either way, I'm applying and cheers to living on the road for two years LOL. It's all worth it though 😂

How many days you are going to be in school starting semester 3 and how many days of clinicals?
