Wanted to start thread because I have not come across a forum for the CRNA 2025 application deadline. Good luck to those applying!

I mean I just finished up chem at my community college.. cheap and they're always great. But obviously it's not fast paced. Summer classes are about to start and they offer 8-10wk courses

Do you mind sharing the type of chemistry you were able to sign up for? I've looked into some courses in community college as well. The one I have looked into requires taking a prerequisite for a higher level course such as  general chemistry or organic chemistry.

Meaning I'd have to take survey of chemistry before I can even sign up for a college level course which will make the process longer to be compliant with the school's chemistry requirement & more money for an extra class they won't even consider (survey of chemistry) since they are only accepting the higher level college chemistry courses, if that makes sense.

thanks.

Sometimes if you reach out to the college and explain the situation, they will allow you to skip those intro courses. I would see if you could get in touch with someone and find out.

Question! For those of you that completed the personal statement, for the references you guys used, did you use a website/journal/article/etc? I'm struggling to find an article that's current and peer reviewed. 😕

Like websites that just discuss the role? Could I just reference the AANA where they discuss the scope of a CRNA?

Perfect! Thank you 🙂

I happen to be confused in regards the chemistry class. I tried to take General Chemistry 1 at MDC aka CHM1045 and they also said I needed like two introductory courses before even taking that general chemistry. And in order to take Biochemistry you need the permission and the okay from the director or the Biochemistry department at MDC so it's a challenge. Does anybody know if CHM1033 or Health Science Chem will suffice ? Or does anybody know where to take Biochemistry ? Tryna stay away from FIU it's kind of expensive....

Try other community college? I went to one in Orlando and they didn't require me to take the intro. The only I needed to do was to take a chemistry test and meet certain score. Then I was good to take gen chem 1. Miami is super duper expensive 😞 although FIU's tuition is cheap
