Anyone applying to Barry University BSN to DNP starting May 2019?

Hi everyone. I too am applying and hoping for admission! I just received confirmation that my file is complete and now the waiting game begins. Congrats on everyone that has been accepted thus far! Fingers crossed I'll be meeting some of you soon!! :)

Congratulations!!!

I sent in everything yesterday which they received. My Barry account says I'm still missing PALS and chemistry which I plan on taking before the start. Will they still review my application now??? Or does it have to be fully complete?

I think they'll review your application. Just make sure they know that you are going to take the chemistry course and PALS before you start.

Hello everyone. Congrats to everyone who's been accepted. We have a Facebook group. To find it click on the search bar at the top of your Facebook page and type "Barry University CRNA Class of 2022." You'll need to show proof of your admission to join so just send a copy of your admissions letter. We already have 26 members in our group from all the different campuses. Can't wait to meet you all.

I called today and asked some questions... They're reviewing apps again this week, then will notify us in two weeks regarding interview invites. Next interview dates are Nov 26, Dec 7, and 2 dates in January. - 14 people per interview. About 35 people accepted as of now, out of 70 seats. Around 200 applicants total.

Thank you for the update!

Thanks for the update. Got an interview saying they are reviewing my app, and received those dates as well. Looking at flights now. Anyone know how long is interview day, start and finish time roughly.

Also does anyone know how long they give you to accept admission and how much is the deposit once you accept. Thank you.

Interview day is 45 - 60 minutes maximum. The actual panel interview is only 20-30 minutes. There is a chemistry/critical care multiple choice test that you also have to take right before or right after the panel interview.

There are two deposits. The first deposit is a $1000 tuition deposit and it is to reserve a seat in the program. This one is paid about a month after you are accepted. The second deposit is a $2000 program fee. This one is paid about two months after you are accepted. Both deposits are credited to your tuition.

I appreciate the quick response. I've applied to several programs like many on here and some of them interview in January and maybe a few in February. At least if I get an interview and accepted to Barry, that will be a good problem to have.

are you able to provide more insight on the critical care/ chemistry exam?
