Anyone applying to Barry University BSN to DNP starting May 2019?

HEY

Im working on my application . trying to retake my GRE and apply by july . What about you ? what are your stats ?

Almost done with my application. Only need to take the GRE and finish BSN (both mid June). Everything else is done. ADN GPA 3.22. BSN GPA 3.93. CCRN certified, Medical ICU 7 years experience. I am applying to WPB campus. What about you?

Are you both using the "Apply Now" link on the left side of the website to apply?

If so, once that is completed, where do we send all of the supporting documents? I.e. CV/Resume, Licenses and Certs proof, etc.

Or is there a way to upload these through the Barry portal (I can't find it)?

Also, do we just use the generic GRE code for Barry, or is there a specific one?

Many thanks in advance

I am using the "apply now" link. Once is completed you will send the rest to the address provided in the area where you uploaded your personal statement (there is a physical address there in case you want to mail in your statement as well as a email address). Send it there, you can use either. I emailed all of my certification except for my transcripts, those were sent in. In regards the GRE, I have no idea as I have not taken it yet.

Hope it helps.

I would be applying to the Tampa or Orlando campus whichever possible.

Hello All,

I applied to Barry CRNA program 2019. I come from out of state, I'm debating between selecting Orlando and south Florida. Anyone knows the difference between those 2 sites? Are there any other better sites in term of lots of hands on simulation, no competition in clinical site with anesthesiologist resident etc? Please help!

Hello,

Barry University has over 40 sites and only two of those 40 have MD residents so therefore there isn't much competition.

Hello there future CRNAs,

I'll be applying to Barry's CRNA program to begin in May 2019. Hope to see you all there!

Hello everyone! I plan on applying. Haven't started my application yet, because I'm waiting to hear from UM and FIU. I'm debating whether or not to take the GRE again! I dread it!!

Verbal 144 Quant 141 total 285:( Analytical 3.5

Stats

Overall GPA 3.4

BSN GPA 3.91

23 years ICU expierience in Trauma ICU and Trauma Resuscitation Bay at Level 1 Trauma Center

Taking the CCRN in about a month

I would have to take a Chemistry course (mine is > 5yrs old and I haven't taken a Chem lab :(...I've been out of college for 23yrs+

Do you please know what are the two sites with medical resident. I hope it is not Orlando or south Florida resident.

Hi. I'm afraid I don't. I was simply told by a CRNA professor at Barry that there are only two sites out of forty that have MD residents. If anything just call the program and ask them.
