Hello everyone! I just wanted to know if anyone applied to this program? I would also like to get some feedback on previous New Grads that went through the program. THANKS! :)
Hi,
I'm a new grad RN and I'm applying for jobs but I wanted to do research difference between Versant and Parallon residency training. I wanted to know any experienced recent grad RNs about which New Grad RN training residency program is better? which one prepares you more to work on the floor? how long is the during of the classroom time in weeks and hours and what is the duration of preceptorship? Does the didactic training overlap with the preceptorship or they are both divided into 2 different weeks. What is the rating of Versant vs Parallon?
I appreciate all the help and your time mentioning any advantages/disadvantages or any valuable information you guys have heard or expereicned and are willing to explain. This will make me make a better decision as to which job offer should I accept. Thanks again
Congratulations on your success thus far! I am a new RN graduate currently living in Central Florida and I am trying to get a feel for what hospitals are paying new grads in the South Florida area. Would you be so kind as to give me an idea of the starting pay that Baptist offers new grads after they complete the Versant program? Thank you.
I am a little concerned as to what are the qualifications they are mostly looking for. I have applied to other internship programs and I am waiting for an answer, but I am also afraid that if those other hospitals call me being accepted I won't have the chance to know if I have been accepted to Versant and I won't be able to give Baptist a try because it will be too late. I am an MDC ASN graduate with a 3.5 GPA, passed my NCLEX on the first try with 75 questions, I am currently in my 2nd semester for the BSN program with a 3.55 GPA, I have 10 years of work experience in one company as a property/office manager. I don't know if that would be good enough for them to call me in for the internship. What do you guys think?
