OMG!! i feel ur pain! the only difference is that i love the picture perfect definition of a nurse. i love the textbook version. i reality it is quite the opposite. As a new nurse i come to realize that these nurses and even the PCT/ Nurse aid talks so much **** about the new nurses. This is my first actual career. i am exposed to so many disease and I've administers and managers adding new rules and policy every 5 seconds. managers looking at you like ur stupid. nursing is the most degrading job on the planet. I'm constantly been screamed at by patients, have to be their maid/servant, PCT thinking that all they have to do is deliver the patient their food tray, nurses and PCT talking **** about me, and trying prove to managers that u r the ****. It is just a lot of pressure!! I remember the days i was searching for a job and now i have now i don't really want it....moment like this i wish i was married to some rich guy lol

did u do the internship interview for TGH already?

i was told new grad with BSN get $22.85 per hour. i think $8 weekend night, $2 for night

Hospitals invest alot of money in these program, if they know that u will not able to commit 100% and have a long term working relationship with then they will look at u as bad investment. I suggest u apply for August program, but u r not guaranteed an interview....u r lucky u called for an interview most ppl dont get that opportunity....DONT GIVE UP!! U R A RN!! Wait until u r STABLE to go on interviews!

they called me about interviewing for ED! Im so nervous it ridiculous...does that mean i got rejected for the other departments i interviewed for?!

Anything yet? i called HR n they basically told me to be patient!! LMAO! Today is Thursday, the week is almost over! I cant deal with the unknown!
