Baptist school of nursing Memphis Fall 2014

U.S.A. Tennessee

Hi! I need more information about Baptist school of nursing in memphis, tn. Im currently a student at Victory University but im wanting to transfer to baptist for fall 2014. What is the GPA requirement for the school? I registered for the interest session on October 2, 2013. I spoke with admissions last week who told me that there has to be atleast 31 transferable credits before may 1, 2014. I will have 31credits by april! Will this decrease my chance of getting accepted since im not submitting transcripts early? Is baptist a good school to attend? Has anyone applied the same year and got accepted for the following semester? How long is the waitinglist if I have to be put on that? Im working towards atleast getting a 3.6 GPA will this be good enough?

I have 42 transfer hours . How many do you have ddhearn?

I have 33 right now, but I'm take 6 more hours this semester that will transfer over before I start in the fall.

I received my acceptance letter for the Fall 2014 today! I'm guessing they have a slow process with getting acceptance letters out. I was wondering how many credit hours do you have transferring towards your degree?

Congrats!

Congrats!

Thank you so much! I'm so excited!!!

@PrincessFutureRN hello I've been watching your post for quite some time now and I know that you are a current student at baptist. Anyway I have a question for you. I unfortunately did not make the priority admission deadline. However, I will have everything submitted before the second deadline. I guess my question for you is do you know of anyone who didn't make the first deadline but made the second deadline and still got accepted for the following term? Or would I be wait listed because I didn't make the priority deadline?

Is there anyone that can answer this question? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated! :)

How exactly does it work for transfers with all the required science course? So let's say you get in and take the 12 hours in the fall of 2014. Can you get in the Spring of 2015? Do they make the decision during late December/Early January?

From what I understand after talking to Chris cotton. You will apply for the spring 2015 term in the middle of your fall 2014 term.

@ddhearn I tried to PM you back but it's saying your inbox is full

Well admission is totally different from when I applies but actually I applied after the propriety deadline just the normal deadline and still got accepted. The process is totally different bc you can be accepted into the school or you can be accepted into the program right away, that wasn't how it was for me, if you got accepted you already had a spot in the nursing program.

I'm not sure about the waitlist thing. I think your chances are still just as good as the priority as the second, it worked for me!
