U.S.A. Tennessee

Hi! I need more information about Baptist school of nursing in memphis, tn. Im currently a student at Victory University but im wanting to transfer to baptist for fall 2014. What is the GPA requirement for the school? I registered for the interest session on October 2, 2013. I spoke with admissions last week who told me that there has to be atleast 31 transferable credits before may 1, 2014. I will have 31credits by april! Will this decrease my chance of getting accepted since im not submitting transcripts early? Is baptist a good school to attend? Has anyone applied the same year and got accepted for the following semester? How long is the waitinglist if I have to be put on that? Im working towards atleast getting a 3.6 GPA will this be good enough?

Anyone that did get their acceptance letter going to the New Student Reception tomorrow 3/25?

How was the new student reception? Were there a lot of you who were already accepted into the nursing program?

Hello all,

I received an email about transfer credit evaluation. The email was not an acceptance but an evaluation on what credits will be put towards the nursing program. Has anyone else received this email? Has anyone who has been accepted received an email like this prior to acceptance?

I received one in January about a week after I applied. How many credit hours will you have to transfer over?

I have 33 transferring over. I'm taking more credits this summer. This waiting game is driving me insane! have you heard anything else since that email you received in January?

I was told by admissions that they accept people with less than 30 hours first and start on the others mid April. So basically they are not going by the gpa as a whole...they start with the least transfer hours along with gpa. Applicants with the least hours get priority selection :-|

Hmmm...but you must have 33 credits to apply. I don't understand how they go by the least amount of credits. How many do you have?

That's if you are a transfer student and they prefer for you to get your science classes there. They admit freshmen. You don't have to have any credits out of high school. I currently have 39 credits that will be transferred to BCHS.

Last I checked you only had to have 31 hours if you are a transfer student but they could have changed it.

It's all about the money, more money in their pocket if you take mor classes there! Plus every other trimester we get a email about credit prices increases.... Will be so happy when dec gets here....

Wow. That's crazy. @PrincessFutureRN did you receive a credit evaluation email prior to your acceptance? I'm wondering if that means anything. Or do they send everyone that email who applied?
