Baptist school of nursing Memphis Fall 2014

U.S.A. Tennessee

Hi! I need more information about Baptist school of nursing in memphis, tn. Im currently a student at Victory University but im wanting to transfer to baptist for fall 2014. What is the GPA requirement for the school? I registered for the interest session on October 2, 2013. I spoke with admissions last week who told me that there has to be atleast 31 transferable credits before may 1, 2014. I will have 31credits by april! Will this decrease my chance of getting accepted since im not submitting transcripts early? Is baptist a good school to attend? Has anyone applied the same year and got accepted for the following semester? How long is the waitinglist if I have to be put on that? Im working towards atleast getting a 3.6 GPA will this be good enough?

It was only a 3.0 but I got accepted but I had another degree not sure if that helped.

I love the school I'm currently in adults 2 and next trimester is psych/comm, it's a hard program and I see at least 15-20 ppl fail each trimester, but it's doable with studying and hard work.

How long were you in on the waitlist?

How long were you in on the waitlist?

Forgot to go to admission Monday ill still try to get sum answers and

I got accepted spring 12 and wasn't supposed to start clinical till fall 13, I had them relook over my credits then got moved to summer 13, then I got a email out of no where that said I got moved to spring 13, they usually move ppl up bc ppl fail, drop out or switch schools. I'm sure about 25 ppl get moved up every trimester. BUT the new admission process might be different.

Hi DLaShae, are you also applying to the University of Memphis? And do you know what TEAS score the UTHSC is looking for??? I've taken it already but I'm thinking about taking it again

Anyone heard anything from Baptist yet?

So I attended one of the interest sessions on oct. 16. I had a chance to speak with an admissions representative and I found out that the best time to submit an application and transcripts for fall 2014 is in January 2014. She made me aware that they start looking at applications before the deadline for fall which is March 1. She also made me aware that they are having an open house on November 16 that you can register for now. Your going to be able to tour the campus and speak with the nursing admission representatives I will be attending!

Anyone applying for fall 2014?

Hello all! I am applying for Fall 2014, and I am currently waiting on a decision. Does anyone know when notifications will be sent out?

Between April and June

I'm considering trying Baptist one more time! I'm also applying to Memphis and Southwest

I'm not submitting my transcripts until the last week of February. That's when I'll have the required 31 credits. Are you a transfer student? If so what's your GPA?

Are you a high school student or transfer?

Thanks @unionnurse12, and I think you should definitely try again! I was going to apply to Memphis also, but was discouraged when I found out about the class size. I am also thinking about applying to Southwest. @futureRN_ Yes I am a transfer student and my GPA is 3.5. I am praying that is good enough!
