Baptist School of Health Professions 2016 Summer

Hello, since no one has made a thread I decide to make one. Any applicants for the 2016 Summer? If so what was your GPA and Teas score? Any advice from others is appreciated. The wait game for responses is around the corner. I am getting nervous.

I was sitting by the front on the left side. I am gonna look for my books tomorrow.

Well, I finally managed to get one of everything on the first semester book list and my husband happened to meet a guy on processing day that didn't need his books anymore and sold them to us for about the same price we were finding online- I'm glad we searched around for lower prices so that we could buy two sets of books and not have to depend on sharing with each other.

I also bought two sets of scrubs each and just got the patches sewn on (had to do it by hand since the shape and location was kind of weird using the sewing machine)...I just need to do a little research on comfortable shoes before I buy those. Did you guys hear anything about purchasing stethoscopes on Student Success Day?

Where did you get the patches? I got three scrubs just bc I have three kiddos and laundry isn't something I want to do all the time if not needed quite yet ;)

Going to to start my search for books soon. Saw a bunch on amazon :)

I got all white sketchers, Amazon.

I don't know about items list. Maybe we will find out on student processing day?

That was going to be my question, the only list I have is the booklist and I also thought we just got our patches on processing day. Is anyone doing the lvn-rn program?

I had to have my TB test read Wednesday of last week in Student Services (since the nurse is only on campus Mon/Tue) and asked if we would have an opportunity to buy our patches at student success day- the lady at the desk was like,"Oh! You can just buy them here, how many do you want?"

Makes sense, I think there was so much information and confusion that day not to mention nerves! Thank you, so just go to the student services office to get them? Were they a pain to have sewn on?

@Jessi21, I am going in straight RN. The patches are $5 at the Student Success office. I'm gonna get mine sewed on this week. Also, reminder if you have your award letter be sure to sign the award and send in by next week. I think the 13th in order to receive it .

Student Success is NEXT week...omg! This should sum up my feelings of nursing school starting in a few weeks: :laugh::eek::barf02::cry::roflmao:
