Baptist School of Health Professions 2016 Summer

Hello, since no one has made a thread I decide to make one. Any applicants for the 2016 Summer? If so what was your GPA and Teas score? Any advice from others is appreciated. The wait game for responses is around the corner. I am getting nervous.

You're not the only one! My husband and I both applied to the Summer 2016 program @ Baptist! I'm a little nervous because SAC snail-mailed our transcripts and they didn't go out until after the priority deadline :( I did submit unofficial transcripts with the application (before priority deadline) and let Rebecca know the officials were in the mail....we'll see! We also applied to the San Antonio College fall 2016 program. Good Luck!

Yay!!!! I'm not alone.lol... I was thinking there weren't many applying so I'm bond to get in. Wishful thinking. I think you all will be fine since final deadline is February 15.I applied for UIW for the Fall but not my first choice because the cost.

Howdy! I applied (after priority deadline). I am crossing my fingers for Summer 2016 as I have no other classes I can possibly take (gen ed are done as I already hold a BS-Psychology) I have a 3.67 for the pre-reqs (A&P I&II were A's, Micro- B) but made a 75.3 on the TEAS V. I scored 80/90's the FIRST time I took the TEAS V test in three section, but did terrible in the science. In an effort to redeem myself, I studied VERY hard in the science and got a 77 the next go around in science, and compromised a bit on the other three sections since I felt I did well the first time. I wish wish wish I scored as high as I did the first time in the other three sections, but felt I needed to pass the science.

Good luck to everyone. I am nervous, excited, sometimes feel doubtful, and feel like I cannot stand to wait too much longer to find out the outcome of being a student here! I want to be a student at BSHP SO bad! I am finally answering a 12 year calling and I have to keep telling myself to be patient and the light at the end of the tunnel is NOT a train ;) May will be my 30th birthday, so it would be wonderul to kick off my 30's starting a new chapter in life!

@CandaceNaylor, I'm sure you will get in. Your gpa and teas v grade is good. I hear teas is changing to six in August.

Do you guys know if decisions are typically sent after the PRIORITY date, after the FINAL date, or both??

Here is what she told me verbatim:

"Your transcripts came in after the priority deadline. You will be considered at the final deadline of February 15th, decisions are sent two weeks to the day after that date."

So now I'm confused on if there are two admissions or not?
