I hadn't seen a thread for the spring 2016 admissions, just wondering if theres anyone else out there!
:)
Went to orientation today. I'm so excited now! I also went and tried on scrubs today. I reeeeally liked the Cherokee luxe scrubs, but they sure are pricyI don't want to go too expensive but I do want comfy ones that will last.
That's awesome! How'd it go overall? What color scrubs?
I've been looking online at scrubs just to get a general idea of prices. Some places are a few dollars cheaper than others. Maybe try to see if they're cheaper online and from different websites.

Everything went great! Everyone in the school wears navy scrubs. They can be any brand, as long as they aren't two toned. And then we just sew our program patches on to our left shoulders. We can wear shoes that are all black or all white.
They are definitely cheaper online, I like allheart.com so far. However the store I checked out in person does discounts for baptist students. We just need our student id or our acceptance letter and we get 15% off! The store is classic uniforms and it's in the park north shopping center.
As far as the rest of orientation goes, it's pretty simple. We turned in our documents, filled out a scholarship form, turned in our direct deposit info, met some of the staff, and took a tour of the school. We also were able to buy program patches and parking decals if we want. Both of those things are $5 each. We also took our student id pictures as well. We were also able to meet with financial aid or any other staff too. I met with financial aid afterwards to get everything settled for that and it was really quick and convenient.
Okay LAST PART I swear. Be prepared for your drug test! They want you to test within 2 days of processing. I think it costs $39, and they give you a list of facilities.
I know this was super long, I'm sorry!

I think I know which store your talking about, but 15% off is better than no discount! Ugh, I don't know who would want to wear white shoes for nursing lol. Thanks for the info, I'm glad it was a good experience for you!
Any one else getting denied access for the fingerprinting? It says I'm not in the system.
Email or call the school, something could've been entered wrong. The code should be the same for everyone.
Yesterday at processing, the advisor said everyone should be in the system by now. And if there's any problems to let them know.
