I found this thread and had a few questions if you guys don't mind. I submitted my application to Baptist for the Fall 2015 and have already schedule to take my TEAS. Did any of you guys have problems with the TEAS, I can't say that I'm a good test taker but I am currently studying and will take it at the end of Feb. Also I am currently in Micro but have finished A&P 1&2 with an A and B. Do they look at your GPA from all your other classes or just the ones they want? I'm so nervous but I've been wanting this forever and its right there I can see it. Thanks guys.

Hi kiarasade,

Have you gotten the ATI study manual for the TEAS V? I found it was very helpful and gave a good idea of what your score will be. I'd say the actual TEAS was a little easier than the study manual so it was a good guide to use.

I would guess that they use your GPA from your prerequisites and your TEAS score as primary to determine entry. I'm not sure about your GPA from other classes. Have you submitted an application yet? When I did I was put in contact with an admissions advisor through e-mail. Mine is pretty good at answering questions within a day or two.

I'm am really hoping to get in for the fall, too. I feel like I've been waiting forever to finally apply!

Sorry for the delay, I have been trying to keep up with Microbiology and I just took my TEAS test this past Saturday and found out that I will need to retake it because of my score on the Science portion. Yes I have submitted an application along with my transcripts. I also spoke with the advisor through email, I believe her name is Rebecca. I'm just so discouraged that I didn't do well on my TEAS. It happens to the best of us. I'm going to study for a month and then take it again in April before the deadline. Have you already taken your TEAS? If so, do you mind me asking how did you do? This process is a trying one and I am just trying to keep pushing through.

Hi kiarasade,

I'm sorry you're going to have to retake the TEAS! I'm sure your retake will raise your science score. You're not the first and certainly not the last person to decide to retake it and get a higher score. I've seen lots of people post on here about their two different test scores, so don't worry. We have a lot of time before May!

I took the TEAS in February. I scored 84.7% overall with a 90% in reading, language, and math and a 70% in science.

I'm finishing up

my first semester. If I recall correctly, it's not long after the deadline that they send out the emails. Good luck! This program is intense but it is great. Seriously, going to nursing school and BSHP was the best decision I've ever made in my life.

Just applied for fall 2015, I've already read the threads regrading teas scores, I was wondering if anyone can share their scores. I took it and got a 71, so I plan on retaking it. Just wondering what the cutoff looks like. One person said 77 another said 74, obviously the higher the better. Just trying to figure out a general ballpark. Thanks

Foundations, your very first class, will start at 0800. Most of the other classes will start at 0900. This is for lecture only. Clinicals begin at 0630.

Thanks, Clint1076. Do you know what people with children in daycare did on clinical days? Most of the daycares I've found open at 0630.
