Baptist School of Health Professions Fall 2015

Hey guys!

Im starting this thread for anyone who is also applying to the Baptist RN program for Fall 2015! The deadline is in a little more then a month so I figured we could use this thread to communicate about the process. Anyone else applying??

I also applied to SAC and UTHSCSA

Havent heard from SAC yet, but I recently got waitlisted at the Health Science Center as 3/10

Hi!

I applied as well to both Baptist & SAC....I'm not leaning toward one or the other just yet. Want to make sure someone will take me first! Has anyone been able to find admission profile information on either school (avg TEAS scores, gpa, etc) It'd be nice to find out where I stand with the average admission scores.

@nmanely7 I have also had trouble finding that! What do your grades and teas score look like? Trying to see if mine are even competitive enough.

Hey guys I also applied for fall of 2015. I'm super nervous and I don't know what is a good enough TEAS score. I've seen people get in with a 67?

So I got accepted to UTHSCSA and accepted the seat since this was my first choice school

But good luck to you all :)

I heard a competitive teas score for baptist is a 77

Did you ever hear back from baptist though? I got a 74.7 on my TEAS. Hopefully that's good enough! I have a 3.7 gpa in my pre reqs.

I just applied as well but did not apply by the priority deadline. The advisor I had talked to just told me it would be okay to wait since I was waiting on my final grade to be posted from my last class taken. Not sure when they will let us know. I hear they send out emails about 2 weeks after the deadline.

Yeah that's what I was originally told also. But, yesterday I was told that most of their decisions are made on the pool of applicants that met the priority deadline...but that they do leave some spots for others. :/ so I guess just keeping my fingers crossed!
