Does anyone have information on this program? I applied and I will be having an interview with Baptist next week. I was just wondering who will be conducting the panel interview and what questions I can expect............
Any information on the program itself. How are the teachers, clinicals, etc.etc.

Hi, I just picked up a packet for the Baptist Scholars program and was wondering if the packet was the only thing I needed to submit or do I have to apply somewhere else?
Hi shay_nicol. You have to be accepted to a school first such as nova or barry. Then you apply to the scholars program. I think for nova students that start in the fall the deadline was june 1st. Have you been accepted anywhere?
I havent applied anywhere, I just moved to Miami from California and I picked up a packet and I start classes at Miami Dade College in a couple of days. I thought MDC was apart of the program?
Ive read something online about it but not in depth. You're best bet would be to speak with someone at mdc. They will give you accurate information. I think they have a program with baptist but don't know much about it.
I just had my baptist interview. It really is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. The people that interview you are all very nice and do smile. There is a panel of 5... They introduce themselves before they begin and tell you if you have any questions for them, you can ask them at the end of the interview.Some of the questions they ask are:
*What qualities do I have that show i can be a leader?
*Why do I want to be a nurse?
*What is my biggest mistake?
* What would I do if I knew someone was going to call in sick and was lying about it and how would I handle it?
*Have I ever been in a position were I was in a disagreement with a supervisor and how did I handle the
situation?
*Have I ever had to go above and beyond in a project...describe.
*Have I ever been dissatisfied in a group project and why?
I believe those were all of them. Pretty much situation-based questions. I feel I was nervous and did not answer them the way I normally would, but I think they understand that you are nervous. Just keep calm and remember they are people just like me and you. Be honest with them and you will be fine. I told them I was nervous and I apologized and they all were very nice and encouraging. Hey guys! I'm new to this thread . I turned in my packet last week on the deadline date and I already have my interview this Friday the 24th. I'm super nervous but working on possible questions I might be asked. Has anyone been accepted to the program for their respective schools? I just wanna know how long it will take for a decision once the interview has taken place. I also wanted to know if everyone that applies gets an interview? This scholarship means so much to me...
