Banner Nurse Fellows Program

I interviewed for the nurse fellows program through Banner about three weeks ago and still haven't heard anything! I was talking to another girl there for an interview who said that her friend (I know, I know, don't listen to anything like this, but I can't help it!) got a call a week after her interview offering her a slot. Has anyone else interviewed and heard anything?

I don't know why I'm so freaking out about it. I'm already accepted into Mesa to start in January (I deferred) but I WANT TO GET INTO THIS!

I don't have the ability to send you a message back yet but all of my scores were very similar to yours. As for the interview, the questions they asked were from Banner's mission. For example, describe a time when you were a leader, etc. They ask you the question and then you can look at them on the sheet in front of you if you need to refer back to it.

I had my interview on Tuesday....and yes....they gave you a sheet with the questions they were going to ask..but you really could not look at the questions on the sheet...much better to look the panel in the eye and go for it.

Jeanene, That's how I felt too! The sheet was there but I just tried to remember what they asked and went with it. I hope it went ok! I wish the best of luck to everyone too! I hope we can all get in! :]

Just curious as to how many people are "lurking" out there waiting to find out if they got into the October Fellows Cohort. I had my interview three weeks ago and am waiting "patiently" to find out today, ok more like obsessively checking my emails

I'm in the same boat, got up an hour before my alarm went off and checking email every so often. Then checking back here to see if anyone else has had some news. Preferably good news at that. Well good luck to everyone who's trying for the october cohort.

You are not the only one. I felt that my interview went well. I am just hoping for a good email and a package today. I have been checking my email all morning. I wonder any people was interviewed for Oct. Good luck!

I wonder if that will wait until the end of the day to send the emails out, in fear of being flooded with calls and emails before leaving the office for the weekend. Any thoughts anyone?

I'm with you guys on the obsessive checking today. LOL. I even planned ahead to bring my ipod so I could check my email at work today, but then it died. Shoot. I can't access my personal email at work, so I'm hoping that someone will get an email and post on here. That's my only hope for knowing until I get home at 7 tonight. :p I'm definitely excited, and I have been waiting 2 months to hear something. I interviewed in mid June. I don't remember which cohort I applied to, but honestly I will take whatever placement they will give me. :D

I applied for the EMCC, however, it they had any spots left for GWCC I would take them. I understand that the GWCC oct cohort is only for bac. degree holding people and EMCC is for the rest of us. Does anyone know how the package will be sent? USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc?

I've been on pins and needles all day as well. My phone chirps when I get an email so I've been jumpy everytime I hear it. I'm also in Colorado getting ready to go to a wedding rehearsal and dinner for a friend, so really hope I have good news so that I can enjoy myself. Good luck everybody. Jeanene
