Hello!
I just thought to make this thread for anyone applying to the Baldwin-Wallace ABSN program for Fall 2020. Please feel free to share tips and pointers for a successful application process and possibly acceptance.
Also if we do get in (which we will fingers-crossed), we can connect with each other and help one another out for things like finding a roommate and affordable places to live for those of us coming from out of state.

Oh yay congrats!! When's your interview?
My advice would be to relax and make them laugh a little if you can. Be upbeat and happy! Make sure your answers are long enough and tell a story but not overly lengthy where they lose interest. They just want to understand what makes you you better.
The questions I remember are what makes me want to be a nurse, what would you bring to the nursing program, what experiences from your past would make you a good nurse, and something along the lines of name a mistake you made and how you fixed it. They didn't ask me anything crazy and won't try to stump you.
You also have to do a writing assignment, they give you 20 minutes. Just try to explain your answer and bring everything back to being nursing related. I used 15 minutes and did a page. No need to make it too long. Good luck! You'll do great ?

How can one answer what I would bring to the nursing program? Like I don't want to brag about my achievements or anything lol. I always have a hard time answering that question

I get that! They did tell me though that we wouldn't have to pay for anything more than the tuition price, so books and uniforms are free and there's no other fees at least.
