Bad pop up :(, PVT still works right?

265 questions. Wondering if I was in the right room. Used Saunders (the evolve online thing with 5200 questions) and NCLEX Mastery App. Mastery app kept me in the game, but didn't really help me get those real tough priority/infection control questions.

I put in my real credit card info (Which has about enough money in it to buy a small bag of chips) and I got the bad pop up.. said my card was declined and to contact my bank or something. I failed my nclex and I was given a friendly reminder that I am also financially unstable.

I knew when I walked out I failed, but here in Ontario we have to wait for results to come in the mail (no quick results). Anybody getting the bad pop up and still passing? I read pretty much everywhere and I'm just seeing people doing the trick wrong or becoming the 1/100. Trying to remove hope so I can start studying using Uworld

If you do not pass be sure to use the candidate performance report to create a targeted review plan to remediate areas you may have been below the standard, reinforce areas you were near, and review the areas you succeeded in being above.

Weird...guess you can't edit on this subforum. Read through some of your posts and you mentioned you did use an accurate credit card. Did you get the official notice that you failed? Check Breeze (or whatever your state uses) and see if your application is still there.

AT FIRST I used an inaccurate expiration date. Said to enter a valid one. Ignored it and tried it again with the inaccurate expiration date lol. Then it processed and said credit card declined.

EVERY time after that I tried I entered the appropriate credit card information and still got credit card declined. Odd thing is when I contacted my bank just to see what it looked like on their side, the nice lady mentioned that the bank has been declining my credit card the entire time due to expiration date and that the card has not been charged at all.

HOWEVER, this has not given me hope at all considering the trick should prevent me from attempting to use the card at all, regardless if the charge went through. This is why I think using an invalid expiration date actually may still work. Either way its not looking good lol

Results come in a few days in the mail. No other way to check it here in Ontario Canada, as the CNO (college of nurses of ontario) don't post it up right away.

Changing an expiration date will NOT prevent a charge in many cases.

Yea. A friend of mine came over after he just wrote his exam (24 hours ago). Used my card with an invalid expiration date and he got the good pop up lol. For all those wondering, the PVT trick is alive and well. Congrats to all that have passed, and good luck to all of us taking it again

Hey really sorry to hear that :(. Unfortunately its pretty accurate. I wish you the best of luck because on very very rare occasions its wrong.

But if in the case you didn't make it through, don't you stress yourself! It definitely sucks but you're not alone! I felt poopy but jumped right back into it basically ONLY using Uworld ( I did 75 questions a day for the month ). 265 means you were very close. I was out of the testing center in like 50 minutes with only 75 questions on the second attempt.
