Back ground checks

Go to your State Police website or call and ask for your records. Thats what I did before nursing school. There may be a fee.

I went to a website that had an ad on this particular thread. They had my offense on it but they also had some extra stuff that I know I haven't done. Your best bet is to go through the police station. At least you are guaranteed accurate results.

A little late, I don't know if you have done anything yet, but here is what I did. I contacted the Dean of Nursing at my school and explained my situation. I got an expungement in September and needed to see if everything had gone through. She had me come in when the Nursing Assistant class did there background checks and do mine. Even though I wasn't in the class, I just came in and paid to do the background check as it is the same one the other program does. About a week later they let me know it came back clear, and since it is the same exact one they do for the program I am cleared to go in this Fall! Best of luck!!

I got 3rd degree battery on my record or i think its on my record..... the police say that as long as i wasn't finger printed that it won't show up on the back ground check. This happened almost three years ago and i wasnt even involved it was a fight that happened and i just happen to be there! It was a mess! Do you think this is something that i should be worried about??
