CNO is no longer using the Baccalaureate Equivalency Table as an assessment tool which is why you haven't received it.
hello! started my RN application February of this year. Last email I received from CNO was last Sept 21, telling me that my application is still under review.. No BET received as well. Also, I sent my RPN application last month. Based on the experiences of other applicants whom you've encountered in this forum (with two applications), do you have any idea how many more months to wait before I can received feedback/decision on my RPN application? I hope I didn't confused you.:)
Thank you much.

There's no way to predict that. Each application will be assessed on its own merit. Until all the required documentation is received and placed on your file, they aren't even going to look at it. So much depends on how quickly the various regulatory bodies/schools/employers submit the documentation requested from them and also on how clearly the information is presented. Another factor is the number of applications they're dealing with at a given time. All I can tell you is that it will take as long as it takes.
Hi atorres0927 Thank you for your reply. Regarding with your question about how long the RPN will finish - I don't have any idea too. But whenever I will get any word from CNO for my RPN I will tell you cause I think I have processed it 4mos earlier than you. But with the RN asessment, please update me as well.
I just pray that God will ease our agony of waiting here.
Hi atorres0927,
I have something to tell you. I just learned from my aunt who just passed this october RPN exam about the length of the RPN assessment. She started her application last april and got her notice August of this year too. So I called CNO and asked about it.
WIth my case, the last doc CNO received was dated August 29 2011 though I started with my application July 2011. The cust. rep. said I will add 12weeks from the last docs received and not from the day of application. So anytime from the 3rd week of November I will get (hopefully) my notice of eligibility.
Hope this helps. FYI : January 2012 Exam = October registration deadline
May 2012 Exam = March reg. deadline
Hope this helps..

Hi guys.....,...when you applied for CNO did you guys completed the IELTS exam first????? I am kinda unsure if I have to take IELTS first before I pass my Application kit......By the Way what is the BET kit??? thanks in advance!
Hi i'm just new here. My aunt gave me the application form for the cno and some of the dox were submitted already. I'm in the philippines right now currently working in a hospital. I just want to ask how does this cno works? I mean I don't have any immigration application yet. Is it possible that I'll be able to go to Canada once I passed the assessment from CNO?!
Hi there ...I would like to ask how did you pass the Certification from the PRC because I read the instruction on the application kit that only official sources are accepted...if I sent it on my own they will deny my papers.............................
if you're going to apply for CNO do we need to be a Permanent Resident of Canada???
do we have to comply with their SEven Requirements they mentioned on their website??
if you're going to take the CRNE exam do they have a Deadline after you receive the letter from CNO????
please advise......I on what steps to take first before submitting my application....

hello Ladyshaman
1. No, you don't need to have your PR as of the moment whe you will do your initial application to the CNO. But in the latter part, citizenship or PR status is required in order for you to get registered as a nurse.
2. Yes! you need to complete the seven (7) requirements in order for you to get registered. Here are the 7 requirements needed:
3. I dont have a reliable source in this question. But my answer will based thru my experience, I had receive my eligibility to take the CRNE but it didnt say any validity aside from saying that I have 3 attempts in taking the CRNE.
Goodluck to each and everyone. :) More power....
