AZUSA PACIFIC LVN to BSN SUMMER 2019

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi everyone! I just got an interview at the Monrovia campus today! Now the waiting game starts. I just want to wish good luck and good hope to those who are also applying for summer!

Hi, I was wondering what your gpa was and what were the factors that helped get a call from them?

I had a 3.86 and I've been a nurse for about 10 years. I'm also military.

I'd recommend reapplying and consistantly following up on your application. That's what helped me

My gpa when I applied was a 3.89 and I’m currently in the program now.

My GPA was 3.5 overall. I think since there are a lot of applicants, it all boils down to the interview. I heard of some people going all the way to the interview and then getting denied. Suggestion, take awards and any recognition letters to the interview. It helps. Take a pen as well. It makes you look prepared. Dress well. Be early, not just on time.

is it possible to get in with a 2.87 gpa.

I messed around school and had a couple of F's that brought my gpa down.
but now that I'm finished with my pre-reqs, I don't know how else to bring up my gpa.
I have the recommendation letters that I need, but it's just my gpa.
Should I be worried?

If you retake the classes you got an f in they won't be counted in your GPA.

there is a science gpa and a general ed gpa. its very competitive so having a high gpa is what they are looking for .I am retaking my science classes they will take the highest grade which gives me a better chance per the admissions rep.

How often do you have to be at school and how long is the program?

Two days a week and its 24 months.
