I just want to post this for the people who were in my position. I have never had so much anxiety before. When i did Kaplan i felt they have very good strategies. But I was very scared because I did not get really good scores.
My diagnotic test was a 58% and the Kaplan people said it should be around 65. My question trainers were very bad.
QT1 49%
QT2 48%
QT3 49%
QT4 49%
QT5 52%
QT6 54%
QT7 58%
Never got to that 65%
My q bank average was 55%
I just want to tell those people who feel like they aren't doing good enough that its ok. Just keep doing question read every rationale and even why the answer is wrong! This helped me out much better than just reading or watching the videos.
If you took the Kaplan class i suggest you also watch the videos of the questions because the video told me info that the kaplan teacher forgot to mention.
Do all the Qbanks and go over all the rationales. I though I was going to fail, my test stopped at 75. So I thought "yep I failed!" I did not have that much confidence. So please I hope this gives some of you a peace of mind that you can do it. Oh and just in case your wondering Kaplan was the only review course I took.

i have been looking for a similar post because i am taking the NCLEX for the second, and hopefully my last, time as well. This will be my second attempt at the NCLEX, and this time i decided to review with the Kaplan online review.(my first attempt i only used saunders:nono:) My computer shut off at 82 the first time and i swore i passed but obviously i did not I have been using KAPLAN for three weeks now and have already done 99% of the qbank and the first four qtrainers. My average for the qbank is 57%, and my qtrainer scores are 1) 55% 2)63%3)54% 4)53%. My test date is at the end of september and i am not so happy with my scores.. kaplan is very challenging for me but i feel that is a good thing because it will help me think in an NCLEX way. i review every rationale at the end of every test and i have gone over half of the book so far while taking notes. My question is should i not pay so much attention to my scores or is there something else i can do to improve? Right now i feel a lot of doubt and am terrified to take the NCLEX again. i feel like i should be achieving in the 60's by now, and i only achieve it sometimes instead of most of the time. my usual for the qbanks are high 50'-low 60's. :uhoh21:

hiy exam is on the 2nd week of oct 2, and my scores ranges the same it made me reallly really anxious and i dont know what to do! but they say just get over your anxiety and use your remaining time in studying instead! Goodluck and God bless to your exam! we will just do fine! I have Faith in God!
Are you reading book kaplan send us thru mail? Or just Qbank plus vid. Im midways thru book its like outline of each dx etc . My live class is tomorrow 8 hrs for two days ...... Yeah !!
So are you just doing kaplan Qbank and not reading any other book etc?

im using kaplan and its my first time to take this exam soo im really anxious, especially when i see my friends scoring way higher than mine... ?
i know how you feel, my sister went to nursing school with me and did kaplan as well--her scores were a little higher than mine (always in the 60's), and she passed the nclex the first time.

I am preparing for my exam next Friday and bumping into this post has really given me a lift :) I've been doing the Kaplan question trainers and qbank and both average 60%. I've put myself in God's hands and will continue to let Him guide me through this journey, but will of course do my part and continue to study like crazy! Thank you so much again!
