Average hourly rate for RN in NYC Nursing homes?

i just passed my nclex-rn and applying for a job.

does anyone know what the average hourly rate for rn in nursing homes in nyc is?

i have a bsn, and a year experience of cna (if that matters).

i would appreciate every information i can get. thanks!

$34/hr for me in nyc. i was a new grad when i was hired, as well. gl!

Wow that seems generous.I would be happy if i get anything like that. A friend told me its usually 31/ hr.Hmmm may i know which place offered you 34/hr?Were you directly hired?Thanks! :)

I'm a new grad but with an associate degree, enrolled in a BSN program. I've been working 6 months in a NJ hospital on a med-surg floor. Is it easy for a person like me to a job at a NYC Nursing home? Planning to get a per diem job in the big apple.

I was hired as a new grad with no exp, so I think if you have 6 months exp on a med/surg floor you'll be scooped up! GL
