AVC 2021 Spring Nursing Program

Hello!!

I've noticed that there was not a thread for the AVC Spring 2021 nursing program and I wanted to make one so that anyone can share their thoughts and to give encouragement to anyone who needs it.

I've personally used a previous thread (AVC Fall 2020) which helped me figure out what I needed to do before I entered the program and the thread answered any questions that I had.

So don't be shy, ask any questions. If you have any questions for me I'd love to answer them. I hope all the best for everyone.

Does anyone know if they stopped sending acceptance letters? or if yesterday was the only day to receive them?

For those who where accepted, is anyone interested in making a facebook group for our class so we stay connected and keep each other updated?

You get an email with your denial, instead of a letter.. I got an email last semester

I also got a denial email last semester. I think it came like maybe a week after. 
 

also I don’t have facebook but I will make one! 
has anyone gotten the packet? All I got was an email confirming what I filled out.

All I've received is the emailing confirming what I filled out, haven't received any packet or heard from the department. Hopefully we hear about our next steps early next week.

Hey guys, 

I received my acceptance letter on Thursday. Are we going to make a facebook group chat? I don’t use facebook much so I wouldn’t know how to do it but is there anyone that could do it and add people or however it works?

I can make a facebook group for the class. Will also look into making a "discord" channel for us to talk in. You can get that on your phone and computer as well. Super easy to use. Will update with FB info

Class group can be found as "AVC RN CLASS 2021" for anyone wanting to join and start

I did not. Apparently they failed to add my CNA into my application so they counted me at 55 points. ??‍♀️ 

They also said that it’s too early to have received rejection letters for this cycle.
