I am looking into applying for spring 2017. However, I am confused on their process for accepting applicants. I have about 75 points for their point system and I have taking the teas more than once. I have As in the three science classes and As in the General ends. I was wondering if my points were okay? What are the usually cut off line for points?

@hirabaig
do you know anyone that has gotten into the program?
Yes, my tutor Jennifer is in the program. I am taking teas next Friday.
How did you do in your first attempt? do you have any suggestions for teas for me? I am really nervous
Do you know what her points were for her to get in? I would suggest to get the online test and use it as a guide line because i found it really helpful. a good amount of the content on the actual test was on the practice online test on ATI. Review the reading comprehension vocab in the book, i found them very helpful because i was able to identify what expository or technical for example. Make flashcards for the science section as well, its so much info to try to remember without flashcards.
I am not sure what she scored but she said no matter what you do it is first come first served so apply and wait till they call you. That is what I am gonna do. I guess the wait time is a semester or two. I am hoping to get 90 and up on teas. I have A's in Anatomy and Microbiology but a B in physiology. I am trying to be competitive applicant for Teas score. I am almost done preparing as in reviewing everything. I will take at least ten mock exams before taking the original teas. When are you planning on retaking it?
Do you know if she got in on the first come, first serve or the point system?
sorry with about all this questions?
I attended Cal state La and the had different requirements for the TEAS. I was focused on their requirements so my overall school wasn't that great for my first time.
I guess nobody knows that just apply and have faith, you will get in, if not spring then fall. Do you live around AVC? Are you planning on applying to COC as well? I would suggest just calm down and apply if you are satisfied with your current Teas score. In order to be eligible for Spring 2017 you need your Teas score with the application. I think if you are above 70% you should be fine.
