AVC RN Spring 2022

Published

Hello everyone! I looked on here and didn’t see that anyone had started a thread for Antelope Valley College RN program Spring of 2022 so I figured I would start one. ? I just applied, and I was wondering if anyone knows how we find out the amount of points we are given in the application process? I saw another thread from years ago where people from AVC were posting their points, but no one had been active on it for a while. Looking forward to chatting with you all! ?

Hi!

There's a 2nd language verification form you can get. I speak another language at home also.

As for the schools, I got into west coast but they take everyone and they're super expensive. Mt. Sac and lastly was antelope valley.

AVC was the most detailed application I had to do. So make sure that you read the pdf they have. It has so many little details and tells you exactly what to do. Like a counseling appointment and etc.

Also they have open enrollment they take applications year round for the program. And have a deadline. So you'll have plenty of time to gather your stuff and just turn them in as soon as possible.

Thank you so much. Mt. Sac is also a great school.

I just checked the website and I saw the language verification form. If I put on the form that I am not proficient in reading, that wouldn't count huh. ?

I'm not sure.  Id ask. Unfortunately I can speak and read. So I didn't run into that problem.

Did anyone get in with only 65 points to the Spring 2022 cohort? Thanks!

Does anyone know if avc accepts online labs if taken during covid? Also will accept TEAS version 6 for the Spring 2023 application?
