AVC Nursing program Fall 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Hey future nursing students. I've been waiting for someone to start a discussion about the AVC nursing program for fall 2018 and no one has so I thought I would. It's getting closer to the acceptance time and I'm getting nervous.

Did any of you do the lvn program at lvc? Is it hard to get in? Its lottery :(

I just moved out to the Antelope Valley in March. I did my LVN in 2011, in Ventura at a private college, so I am unfamiliar with AVC's LVN program or their process. Not many community colleges have an LVN program these days, so to get in would be amazing.

Thank you. I agree completely. I can't believe there's an lvn program at a cc. It would be a dream to get in. I bet it's very competitive though.

Your number jumps like that after each bridge class starts. When your application is reviewed and determined complete, you get your number and that's it. Having teas done prior doesn't affect how fast your number advances. It really does go fast though!

Hello,

Does anyone know what the program hours are like? Just curious.

Thank you in advance

Hi Everyone!! Hope you guys are enjoying your last couple weeks of freedom until December! I'm Kristena, a recent graduate of the RN program & member of CNSA. I just wanted to take a moment to say how excited I am for you guys. I remember being on here looking for someone, anyone that was going through the same things i was at the time. I can't wait to meet everyone on August 13th at the Meet & Greet we are hosting. Feel free to ask any questions you may have, Ill help as much as i can. :D

Hi!
Is there a long waiting list for this program? What’s the schedule like? And where are the clinicals at?
Thank you in advance for any information!
