Hi everyone! I’m currently a student at AVC wanting to apply to the LVN Program for next fall. I know it’s a bit early to make this topic since the applications for next year aren’t available yet and the classes for this fall’s program hasn’t started.
I actually created this topic because I wanted to discuss about the requirements needed for this program. I have already done all the coursework that is stated in the application except that I currently am not holding any degrees. What I wanted to know is if I would be able to get into the program by just submitting my high school and AVC transcript along with my Education plan with those completed courses without any degrees. Also, if anyone knows, what is the minimum amount of points to get in?
Other than that, feel free to use this topic to ask any questions or to voice any concerns you guys might have about the program. Some things may be confusing for some people so let’s help each other out! ?

@Kassyx I called the to ask if all the acceptance emails were sent out yet and denial letters and was told they are still sending out acceptance emails next week and will not send out letters until they fill the class.
Thank you! I’ve been constantly checking this forum to see if anyone else has received anything yet as well but I’ve only heard from one person so I had a feeling they were still gonna be sending them out but wasn’t sure.

Also since the program was on a point system, do you guys remember how many points you applied with? I think I applied with around 28 bc I haven’t taken micro yet and got a B in 2 of the req. non science classes. Also I took nutrition at coc and got an A, I turned in the coc transcripts to the transcript office and with my application but it isn’t on my avc transcripts yet so I’m kinda anxious about how they look at everything.
I am looking at the point system page I have saved although I don't think it is the one I was looking at when I sent in my application so If I point something incorrect maybe you can correct me if you have the point plan in front of you.

Hey guys, I put my personal email in my application instead of my AVC email. It shouldn’t be a problem right? I still haven’t heard anything back except for the initial letter saying that emails/letters would be sent out late April, early May.
