I was wondering if anybody has signed up with AVANT HEALTHCARE PROFFESIONALS, a USA based agency for NURSES and PTs, which currently sponsors NCLEX-passers. Any updates with your application?

I have started this thread thinking we could update on the process that you are undergoing since US visa bulletin is fast moving.

For those who signed up with AVANT, please. Share your experience with them here.

Thank you!

Hmmmm thank u for your message. Can you give me an instance wherebyd they were quite rude or u didn't like what they told u?

Specializes in labor and delivery.

hi i cant share that experience as someone might be able to read it and that is a personal experience. All you have to know is that I inquired about something, and it goes against them, instead of communicating well, they threat you. And its just an inquiry. And when you email them, it will take weeks for them to answer you and when they do, you are obliged to reply right away with a deadline.

Hi. I am wondering about their placement facilities. I am wondering which hospital will they deploy us.

@ dee_sg29 Please can you email me on [email protected]. I have some things to discuss with you. Thank you

Wow. That's a little unsettling.

Did you make it to the US, though? And what kind of threats are you talking about? Breach of contract?

I think I'm experiencing the same way too. My story goes like a third party-agency based in the Mid-East told me about an agency recruiter "Avant" last February 2015 and after an interview, I proceeded to signing a contract. I thought everything was perfect based on their website and no ugly testimonies found on the search engines. I received my priority between the last few months of the same year. As I continued to work at the hospital in the mid-east, for more than two years I decided to finish the contract due to threats for senior nurses and went back to my country. I have notified avant since by the early month of 2017 but I never received an email. By this month, I received a message from avant stating that I have to prepare well for the NVC processing and that she gave me a deadline to reply. For the 2nd and 3rd time, I told her my case but nothing has been answered back. I know my jobless status is a breach of contract but what can I do if I'm fed up with the jungle environment working as a nurse for 7 years in the Mideast.

Did you write to them that you were changing?

Yes. I emailed directly to an Avant immigration representative since April 2017, after I passed a non-renewal letter to the hospital. There was no reply thereafter. I hope they can find a solution for me but there is a stiff response than the times when I started the process with them.

I suggest when you get a job, you email them or call them to explain things to them. But have you passed nclex?

I passed the examinations last 2009 during the time I was working in a hospital locally. I used to inquire with the HCCA agency before but that time, they were not able to process me due to gross retrogression. Then, by 2010 I decided to work in the mid-east because I was very poor and unable to fund for western fee process. And when I came back to HCCA last 2012, it was already closed. That time, the application for US immigration was very unlikely not until by 2015, a third-party agency endorsed me to Avant. My priority date is November 2015 and probably by September, I'll be current as there is already an email from NVC reminding me for a fee, in which an employer is accountable for. As of now, I really don't know what's their (Avant) decision to make. Since my PD is anticipatedly fast approaching, I can't apply for a job locally or abroad as there are contracts involved in and I can't assure a payment in return.

This is a dicey situation. Well just call or email them and know what they have to say. I believe they sponsored you for nclex or was it self sponsored?

I have passed the NCLEX-RN last 2009 by my own pocket and never had any agency except for an inquiry at the HCCA (now Shearwaters). As far as I remember, I signed an echo sign stating about an NCLEX Examination Application from them that may look as if they are providing NCLEX, however, I am not very sure wether they will give me a reimbursement fee as I step onto the US Soil. Well, I have already made twice the email messages. I'm already in the middle of the ocean finding a mermaid. Good luck oughts to be mine, hopefully.
