I was wondering if anybody has signed up with AVANT HEALTHCARE PROFFESIONALS, a USA based agency for NURSES and PTs, which currently sponsors NCLEX-passers. Any updates with your application?
I have started this thread thinking we could update on the process that you are undergoing since US visa bulletin is fast moving.
For those who signed up with AVANT, please. Share your experience with them here.
Thank you!
Last week, one of the recruiting officer asked me to send a resume (using the avant resume template) and comply with the skills checklist on the Avant Healthcare Professionals' site. After sending my resume and completing the checklist, they haven't responded yet It's been a week now. What to do?
hi i have created this thread, i did not know that its still alive. Anyway, just an update, at first AVANT was really nice and all, but when the time comes that you need something from them, they are not that accomodating. Im sorry but i just had a bad experience with them---well not just once, but twice. With what happened im just not going to divulge. They were just simple requests but they always threaten me instead of just explaining to me nicely what they want. Its as if they are talking to a child who wont listen.
And pls. be aware that there have been lots of denials from AVANT. My friend who also applied got an RFE for his I-140 then AVANT withdrew the application and he was adviced that they will refile at a later time. Hope this helps in choosing wisely your AGENCY. Scrutinize well..ask questions, make sure they are consistent with how they deal with you. its better to look for a direct hire---they are out there, dont rush it. =)
