I was wondering if anybody has signed up with AVANT HEALTHCARE PROFFESIONALS, a USA based agency for NURSES and PTs, which currently sponsors NCLEX-passers. Any updates with your application?
I have started this thread thinking we could update on the process that you are undergoing since US visa bulletin is fast moving.
For those who signed up with AVANT, please. Share your experience with them here.
Thank you!

Hi all!
I am an ICU nurse with over 7 years of experience, from the Philippines. Right now I have been looking for the best agencies that would assist me all the way who are swift in handling applications. I don't have NCLEX yet but already passed IELTS and thinking of pursuing my American dream. Do you guys have any advice for me on where to start? How about agencies? I am thinking of Avant and PassportUSA. Since I am new to this, I still don't have any clue about anything.
I have sent my CV to Avant and have already sent me the link for me to do the pre-assessment exam but part of me is holding back because I don't know if Avant would allow applicants like me that have an ongoing application to other countries. I have an application for Ireland and is currently waiting for my visa to be processed.
Any response would be appreciated. :)

I finally sat for NCLEX and passed. God rocks!!!! I missed by estimated examination dates by months because credentials evaluation took a very long time.
I have a few things to drop here for nurses from Nigeria ( to make your journey to the embassy smoother and your choice of dishes when you travel easier)
Embassy
The embassy required us to bring more items than what was stated in the website. The additional requirements are:
Letter of introduction from your employer
Letter of invitation (you will get this from avant)
Statement of account (salary account)
Payslip (3 months)
Please take all these with you in addition to the requirements on the website.
Exam Centre
I wrote my exam in Mumbai. The hotel we lodged in serves good food. They have a variety of "rice dishes", the white rice and Birdu soup(i hope I got the spelling right) is very close to Naija food.
Additionally, there is a Punjabi kitchen just down the road, the fried rice and chicken chilli soup is very close cousin to Naija's fried rice.
I hope this helps someone.
